Have you ever felt like this?

  • You know the basics of nutrition, but somehow knowing what to do and actually doing it consistently are two different things.

  • You are tired of dieting, losing a little weight, regaining it, and feeling like you are back at square one.

  • The way you used to eat does not seem to work the same way anymore, and you are not sure what needs to change after 50.

  • You want to lose weight or feel better in your clothes, but you do not want another restrictive plan you cannot maintain.

  • You start out motivated, but weekends, vacations, stress, eating out, or a busy schedule make it hard to stay consistent.

  • You find yourself avoiding pictures or stepping behind everyone else when the camera comes out because you do not feel comfortable in your body right now.

If any of these sound like you, you’re in the right place.

The problem is probably not that you need more nutrition information. You may already know that protein matters, calories matter, food quality matters, and exercise matters. What you may be missing is a strategy that helps you put all of those pieces together in a way that works in your actual life.

With the right guidance, feedback, and support, you can stop bouncing from diet to diet and start building a way of eating you understand, trust, and can maintain.

Hi, I’m Karen,

and I help women over 50 build a healthier, more sustainable relationship with nutrition so they can feel better in their bodies and stop constantly starting over.

I have spent years teaching nutrition classes and working individually with clients who know they should eat better but struggle to turn that knowledge into consistent action.

My approach is not about handing you another list of foods you are allowed and not allowed to eat. Together, we look at what you are eating, how much you are eating, what your body and results are telling us, and where realistic adjustments can be made.

Because women over 50 do not need more food rules. They need a nutrition strategy they can adjust, trust, and live with.

Through personalized coaching, I help you understand your nutrition, make informed decisions, and build habits that support your goals without expecting you to be perfect.

Through personalized 1:1 nutrition coaching, I help my clients build consistent eating habits, make informed choices, and create a realistic strategy they can sustain so they can feel better in their bodies and stop constantly starting over.

Just imagine if...

  • Your clothes fit better and you felt more comfortable getting dressed in the morning.

  • You could step in front of the camera instead of automatically trying to hide behind everyone else.

  • You knew how much to eat, what foods to prioritize, and how to make adjustments when your progress changes.

  • You could enjoy a dinner out, vacation, holiday, or weekend without feeling like you had ruined everything.

  • You stopped restarting every Monday because your nutrition finally felt like something you could actually maintain.

  • You felt confident making food choices without needing someone else to give you a rigid meal plan.

Why does my approach work so well?

It is personalized to you

Your nutrition plan is based on your goals, current habits, lifestyle, preferences, challenges, and where you are starting. You are not being dropped into a generic meal plan designed for everyone.

You learn how to make decisions, not just follow rules

I do not want you dependent on a diet plan forever. You will learn how to make informed nutrition choices, understand what your results are telling you, and make adjustments when necessary.

It is realistic and sustainable

Women over 50 do not need more food rules. You need a nutrition strategy you can adjust, trust, and live with. We focus on consistency and progress over time rather than short bursts of perfection.

Are you ready to stop starting over?

Imagine knowing how to eat in a way that supports your goals without feeling like your entire life revolves around dieting.

Your clothes begin fitting differently. You feel more comfortable in your body. You no longer dread stepping in front of the camera. A restaurant meal or vacation does not send you into a spiral because you know how to get right back to your normal routine.

Most importantly, you understand what works for you and feel confident making nutrition decisions without needing another rigid diet.

That is what personalized nutrition coaching is designed to help you build.

This is for you if:

  • You are a woman over 50 who is tired of dieting and ready for a more sustainable approach.

  • You already understand some of the basics of nutrition but struggle to stay consistent.

  • You are willing to pay attention to both what and how much you are eating.

  • You are willing to track your nutrition when appropriate and use that information as feedback rather than judgment.

  • You want coaching, accountability, and support rather than another generic diet.

  • You understand that lasting results take time and are willing to make gradual adjustments.

This is NOT for you if:

  • You are looking for a quick fix or dramatic results in a week.

  • You want a rigid meal plan that tells you exactly what to eat without learning how to make your own decisions.

  • You are unwilling to track or pay attention to your intake when it would be helpful.

  • You are looking for perfection rather than consistency.

  • You are unwilling to make adjustments when something is not working.

  • You are not ready to take an active role in the process.

Do I have to count calories or track my food?

The short answer, yes. Tracking can be an extremely useful tool because it gives us information about what you are actually eating rather than relying on guesswork. Depending on your goals and needs, we may use food tracking, portions, protein targets, or other strategies.

Tracking is not meant to be punishment or something you have to do perfectly. It is information we can use to understand what is working and what may need to change.

Do you have a guarantee?

While I can’t always guarantee the exact results you are looking for. Yes. If you actively participate, complete the work we agree on, and communicate honestly with me, I want you to feel confident in the coaching you receive. If you genuinely feel the program is not right for you, we can discuss a refund.

Will you give me a meal plan?

My goal is not to make you dependent on a rigid meal plan. I want you to learn how to make nutrition decisions for yourself.

We can absolutely create structure around meals, protein, portions, calories, and food choices, but the bigger goal is teaching you how to apply those principles in your own life.

Is this a diet?

Yes and No. Technically, a diet is simply the way we eat on a regular basis. Depending on your goals, we may adjust calories, portion sizes, food choices, meal timing, or other aspects of your nutrition.

However, this program is not about following a restrictive, short-term diet and then returning to old habits. Instead, the focus is on developing sustainable eating habits and a personalized nutrition plan that fits your lifestyle.

Our goal is to help you build a nutrition strategy that you understand, enjoy, and can maintain for the long term, creating lasting results rather than temporary changes.

Do calories still matter after menopause?

Calories still play an important role in weight management, but they are only one part of the picture. Protein intake, food quality, activity, strength training, sleep, stress, lifestyle, and individual circumstances can all influence your progress.

Rather than focusing on one variable, we look at the bigger picture and make adjustments based on your goals and your actual results.

What happens if I have a bad week?

Nothing has failed. This program will never be about profection.

Real life includes holidays, vacations, restaurants, stressful weeks, celebrations, and days when things simply do not go according to plan.

Part of coaching is learning how to navigate those situations and return to your normal habits without guilt, overcorrecting, or deciding you need to “start over.”

How will we know if the program is working?

We will look at several markers of progress rather than relying on a single number.

Depending on your goals, those may include weight trends, how your clothes fit, energy, nutrition consistency, tracking frequency, and other personal health goals.

We will also look at something equally important: whether you are becoming more confident making nutrition decisions and better able to stay consistent without relying on rigid dieting.
