I’m Karen Skidmore. I’m a fitness coach for women over 50 who want to move better, ease chronic pain, and rebuild strength and mobility—without jumping into extreme workouts or overhauling everything overnight.
I started Completely Fit because I saw too many smart, capable women struggling with pain, fatigue, stiffness, and the belief that they were “too old” or “too far gone” to feel good again. As a two-time cancer survivor and someone who’s been in the trenches of recovery and reinvention, I know what it means to feel disconnected from your body—and how powerful it is when you start to reclaim it.
That’s why I use a whole-person approach that doesn’t just focus on physical health. We work with:
• Emotional & mental resilience
• Nutrition and real-life habits
• Posture, mobility, and functional movement for older adults
• Social support and lifestyle environment
• And most importantly—your mindset
I’m not here to bark orders or hand you a one-size-fits-all plan.
Instead, I meet you exactly where you are. Whether you’re recovering from an illness, managing chronic pain, or just feeling out of sync with your body—I’ll guide you step by step through sustainable daily actions that lead to real, lasting change.
My credentials? I’ve been at this for over 20 years with certifications in:
• Corrective Exercise (NASM)
• Precision Nutrition Level 2
• Athletic Training (NATA Certified)
• And countless hours of continuing education in movement, mindset, and recovery
But what really sets me apart is how I listen, how I connect, and how I customize everything to fit you—not the other way around.
