"Karen is amazing! She sat down with me and my daughter and developed a plan for her based on what she wanted to achieve. Her schedule was flexible and she also took the time to explain what was worked on during her session and what she noticed and areas to keep focusing on. My daughter had great results is looking forward to continue to train with Karen".

The thing is, it is absolutely normal to feel stuck when you want to be active, but you are not sure what is safe, what will help, or where to begin. Hi, I’m Karen,
and I help women over 50 who want to feel and move better so they can do the things they want, love and need to do.
For more than 20 years, I have worked with clients who are tired of generic workouts, frustrated by pain or stiffness, or unsure what their body can handle anymore. I know how discouraging it can feel when you want to move, but you are not sure where to start or what will actually help.
My approach is designed to meet you where you are. Together, we create a plan that respects your body, supports your goals, and helps you move forward with more strength, confidence, and ease. Because fitness should help you feel better in your life — not leave you feeling defeated.
Through personalized 1:1 coaching, I help my clients move better, get stronger, and build habits that support their health so they can stay active and feel good doing the things they love.
Just imagine if...
You felt stronger and more capable in your everyday life — getting up from the floor, climbing stairs, carrying groceries, or moving through your day with more confidence.
You had a fitness plan that actually made sense for your body, instead of wondering if you were doing too much, not enough, or the wrong things.
You started moving with less hesitation because you understood what your body needed and felt more supported in how to exercise safely.
You felt proud of yourself for being consistent, not because you were perfect, but because your plan felt realistic and doable for your life.
You began to trust your body again and felt more freedom to enjoy the activities, people, and moments that matter most to you.
Strength That Supports Your Life
Build strength in a way that helps you feel more capable in your everyday activities — from getting up and down from the floor to climbing stairs, carrying groceries, walking longer, or simply moving through your day with more confidence.
Better Movement and Mobility
Improve how your body moves so exercise and daily life feel less frustrating. Together, we will focus on strength, mobility, alignment, and control so you can move with more ease and feel safer in your body.
More Confidence in Your Body
When you understand what your body needs and have a plan that fits, movement starts to feel less overwhelming. You can stop second-guessing every exercise and start building trust in your body again.
Feeling weak or deconditioned
Joint pain or stiffness
Back, hip, knee, or shoulder discomfort
Poor balance or fear of falling
Trouble staying consistent
Not knowing what exercises are safe

"When I started with Karen over two years ago, I was suffering with constant neck and shoulder pain, poor posture and low energy. Karen helped me get rid of all my neck and shoulder pain, improve my posture and balance (I didn’t even know I had a problem with that). I have much more energy, flexibility and stamina. I feel like I have regained years of life back. Thank you, Karen for your continued encouragement, professionalism and belief in me.”
It is personalized to your body
Your plan is designed around your goals, your movement, your history, and what your body needs right now. Instead of forcing you into a generic workout, we build from where you are so you can make progress safely and confidently.
It focuses on how you move, not just what exercises you do
Exercise is more effective when your body is moving well. We look at strength, mobility, alignment, breathing, control, and compensation patterns so your workouts support your body instead of leaving you feeling frustrated or beat up.
It is realistic and sustainable
You do not need an extreme plan to get results. You need a plan that fits your life, helps you stay consistent, and supports long-term strength, confidence, and better movement.
Imagine for a moment that you had a plan that helped you feel stronger, move better, and feel more confident in your body again. You could go through your day with less hesitation — climbing stairs, walking, lifting, bending, exercising, or enjoying the activities you love with more ease and trust in your body.
This is what personalized coaching is designed to support: better movement, lasting strength, and a more confident way to stay active in the life you want to live.

First, you’ll complete a short form so I can learn more about you, your goals, what you are looking for, and any challenges you are currently working through.

Next you will pick a day and time for your free consultation. I will send you a follow up email with directions and the link for a health questionnaire to fill out.

During the consultation, we’ll talk through where you are now, where you would like to go, and which option may be the best fit for you — 1:1 coaching, a DIY movement program, or wellness coaching. FAQs
The application helps me learn more about you before we talk. By sharing your goals, current challenges, exercise history, and what kind of support you are looking for, I can come into your consultation with a better understanding of your needs.
This allows us to use our time together more effectively and talk through the options that may be the best fit for you — whether that is 1:1 coaching, a DIY movement program, or wellness coaching.
The application is not meant to be intimidating. It simply helps make sure you get the right support, the right next step, and a plan that fits your body, your goals, and your life.
Most fitness programs give you exercises to follow. My approach looks at you first — your goals, your movement, your history, your lifestyle, and what your body needs right now.
Instead of pushing you through a generic workout or expecting you to keep up with a plan that was not designed for your body, we focus on building strength, improving how you move, and helping you feel more confident and supported.
This is not about doing more for the sake of doing more. It is about learning how to move better, train smarter, and create a plan that feels realistic, safe, and sustainable for your life.
After you complete the application form, you’ll be taken to the scheduling page where you can choose a time for your free consultation.
Once your consultation is scheduled, I’ll send you a confirmation email with the details you need, including whether your appointment will be in person or virtual. I’ll also include a health questionnaire for you to complete before we meet.
This helps me better understand your health history, goals, and any important information that may affect your fitness, movement, or wellness plan. That way, when we connect, we can make the most of our time and talk through the best next step for you.

Breathing is at the center of how your body moves, stabilizes, and recovers. It does more than bring oxygen into the body — it also helps influence the nervous system, especially the parasympathetic system, which supports recovery, regulation, and a calmer state.
Optimal breathing also helps manage the body’s internal pressure system. When breathing mechanics improve, the core, posture, and muscles often have a better opportunity to function the way they are meant to.
That is why we often begin with breath work. It helps create a stronger foundation so the rest of the body can move, stabilize, and respond more effectively.
Motor control is the way your nervous system communicates with your muscles to create movement, stability, and coordination.
Think of it like your brain and body working as a team. Your brain sends signals, your muscles respond, and together they help you move, balance, stabilize, and control your body.
When motor control is working well, the right muscles know when to turn on, when to relax, and how to work together. When it is not working as well, you may notice compensation, gripping, poor balance, limited range of motion, or movements that feel harder than they should.
Improving motor control helps your body move more efficiently, so strength, mobility, and exercise can feel more supported and effective.
Not in the traditional sense. While we will absolutely work on core strength and stability, most of the core work we do will not look like typical sit-ups, crunches, or leg lifts.
You will learn that your core is involved in almost every movement we do. The goal is not just to “feel the burn” in your abs, but to help your core support your spine, posture, breathing, and overall movement.
Many traditional core exercises can place unnecessary stress on the spine and do not always respect the alignment of the thoracopelvic canister — the relationship between your rib cage, diaphragm, pelvis, and pelvic floor. When that alignment is off, your body may compensate instead of building true support.
Our focus will be on helping your core work more effectively as part of your whole body, so you can move with better control, strength, and confidence.
