In Nutritional Planning for the New Year Part 1 I talked about the importance of planning and how not planning out our meals can set us up for failure.  Last Tuesday I found myself looking at an empty refridgerator and an empty cupboard.  It took a lot of discipline and self-control to not just grab the first unhealthy thing I could find.

Obesity on The Rise Again

The TFAH (Trust for America’s Health) F as in Fat 2009 report states that obesity rates are on the rise for the third straight year in Maryland and no state in the US saw a decrease in rates.  Unfortunately even the rates of our children are on the rise.

Food Binges

Food binges can be the worst.  Do you ever hit that point in the afternoon where you feel like you are no longer in control of your food choices?  Your intentions are good; you want to choose something healthy, but nothing healthy appeals to you.  So instead, you go for the high calorie - low nutritious junk food out of the vending machine or the homemade things brought into the office.

Generally I am pretty leery anytime I hear the word diet, I don’t believe in them nor do I think they work.  However I have found a diet I actually like, yes you guessed it the Carb Rotation Diet.  I think he should have named it something else because it really isn’t just a diet.  Jayson teaches you how to put together healthy meal plans for life, but then there is that piece in there that can be used for rapid fat loss 15 pounds in about 30 days to be exact.
