Fit and Healthy
You have heard the old saying “if I have said it once, I have said it a hundred times”!
That should ring true with some of the things I have said both here at my blog and on my company website Completely Fit.
Every single person who has ever trained with me or (had the misfortune of listening to any of my long winded discussions) knows it is not enough to just train the body. Proper nutrition habits must be instilled and the body must move correctly. No I am not referring to perfect form when doing the exercise. I am talking about correct muscle balance within the body. These incorrect movement patterns and functions account for a large majority of training injuries and account for almost all overuse type injuries.
Today I am going to send you off sight to read someone else’s blog. Kim Ball is a good friend of mine and works with clients out on the west coast.
Sometimes we need to hear the same message from someone else before we can truly grasp its meaning. While you are on her site check out some of her links. Her and her husband JD just spent an entire year traveling in Europe and they did it living out of a van. They have some amazing pictures and stories to tell.
Click on the link and check out her article. I would love to here what you think about it.
Being Strong/Fit is not Enough Enjoy the Post, if you leave a comment for her don’t forget to much who sent you.
Stay Motivated,
Karen

The article was great!
I recently discovered that my foundation for walking/running has been completely wrong and I basically have to re-learn those basic movements. it should perhaps be stressed that our thoughts play a major role in building the foundation but that is another discussion.
You are so correct everything we do fitness related begins with our thoughts. In order to move forward they must be postive. Thanks for reading.
