Beach Body Ready
The sun is out, it is getting warmer and finally it is time to put away the winter coat. As the shorts and t-shirts begin to go on you realize you are not beach body ready. At this point most people begin to panic. Rest easy, because there is still time to get the body ready and lose the fat.
Tighten up your diet and try to follow the 90/10 rule ( of all the meals and snacks you eat during the week only cheat for 10% of those). Since you only have a few weeks left you will want to utilize high intensity training.
This can be done easily by using your heart rate. Let me explain. I had a client who had been doing cardio on her own for well over a year. She felt like she was working really hard, but she didn’t like the results she was getting. I recommended she buy a heart rate monitor. I helped her put a new program together that had her working in the 70-85% zone for at least half the workout. She discovered how little effort she had really been putting into her previous workouts, and could understand why the results were so low.
Along with high intensity cardio workouts you will also want to make sure you are doing your resistance training.
