Where Do You Get Your Information?
There is information everywhere about improving your nutrition and exercise. How do you know what is good and what isn’t? Let me show you an example of what I am talking about. Pomegranate Ranked Healthiest Fruit Juice aired this past Saturday on the Early Show. At first glance the article might have you running out to the grocery store, but on further review you may notice that POM Wonderful funded the study. I would think that might have had some influence on the outcome of the study, but maybe not pomegranates are good for you.
Some of the popular magazines on the market contain articles that are not written by qualified professionals, how would you like to get your exercise advice from them?
So what do you do? My suggestion is, do your research before you take the advice you find on the Internet, or read in magazines. Find out what kind of credentials the author has and where did they get their information for the article. Most of all find reputable sources for all of your fitness and nutrition needs and know you are covered.
Stay Motivated,
Karen
